I don't have dogs and really don't want any right now, but your little guys are really cute. If I ever decide to get a dog again, I'll get a small one. I had a miniature poodle that drowned in our pool 38 years ago; then, I got a Cairn Terrier--my favorite--that someone stole from my yard three years later. I decided I'd never get another dog, and still haven't. When I see photos like you have, I do get tempted.

Aiyana, the pain of loss pales compared to the joy the give while they are with us. Because of the lifespan thing, for most of us they are a guaranteed heartbreak in the end, but life is like that. I've learned more about letting go and moving on from my animals than from any person.
