Washoe, the chimp, has passed away. It's front page news here, because the project took place in Oklahoma.

Washoe taught science what our hearts already new. Animals have their own minds and their own thoughts, and they can communicate those. Run free, little chimp.

Deep Freeze Idiots and Kind Souls

Some idiot burglar stuck a chihuahua in a freezer. The chi is Ok, but these folks are seriously disturbed.
