Snow on the chimney
Little old, little bent, some snow on the chimney, but still a beauty. Can't make a long term committment? Find an old dog that needs a home. Many beloved pets are becoming displaced as their owner's age.
Animals do not fear their own death, or bemoan their failing selves. Taking in an elderly dog may teach YOU more than you ever thought possible.

i would love to take in an elderly dog, but then snuffs will be elderly soon too...so i've got one already....
Oh I believe this with all my heart! I was telling my husband that when the time comes to adopt again I will go for the older ones who keep getting passed over. It breaks my heart because they still have so much to give, like sage wisdom for one.
